Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years in financial aid, enrollment management, or student services.
• Experience leading training, mentoring, or coordinating staff in higher education.
• Experience improving frontline student service delivery in a college setting.
• Ability to develop and execute communication strategies and training initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills; commitment to equity.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for student-facing operations of the Financial Aid Office.
• Develop and improve service standards, protocols, and knowledge of resources.
• Lead financial aid communication and outreach aligned with recruitment and student success.
• Review and approve communications for regulatory clarity and accuracy.
• Represent the office at orientations, FAFSA events, and community activities.
• Design and assess financial literacy initiatives to support student decisions.
• Administer assigned federal, state, and institutional aid programs with compliance.
• Interpret Title IV and state regulations and translate into policies and training.
• Deliver training materials and ongoing support for staff and frontline personnel.
• Collaborate with other departments to strengthen integrated service delivery.
• Serve as SME on clock-hour programs including R2T4 and SAP compliance.
• Escalate complex cases; analyze data to improve access, efficiency, and outcomes.
• Support audits, reporting, and continuity of service; perform other duties as assigned.
