Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an Assistant Director I to assist the Director of Environmental Services in directing the housekeeping department’s operations. You will coordinate the tasks of the Operations Managers and serve as a liaison between administration and facilities to deliver high-quality service.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication and leadership skills, and a proactive approach to budgeting and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Progressive growth in healthcare housekeeping facility maintenance expected.
• Strong written and oral communication, listening and empathy, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for housekeeping staff in accordance with facility policies.
• Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and duties to ensure adequate housekeeping services.
• Interviews, selects, hires, evaluates, and terminates housekeeping personnel per facility standards.
• Orients, trains and supervises all Housekeeping staff.
• Assists with budgets and coordinates with departments to ensure optimal staffing and supplies.
