Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking an Assistant Director of Environmental Services to assist the Director in directing housekeeping operations in a hospital setting. You will coordinate the work of Operations Managers and ensure the highest level of service.

You will lead staff training, schedule projects, and ensure compliance with policies while delivering high-quality service. This role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication, budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Experience in healthcare housekeeping preferred.
• Progressive growth in facility maintenance.
• Strong work ethic, initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication, listening and empathy.
• Ability to manage staff, budgets, and priorities under stress.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards and procedures for housekeeping staff.
• Plan work schedules and duties to ensure adequate services.
• Interview, hire, evaluate, and terminate staff per policy.
• Orient, train, supervise and develop staff.
• Perform inspections and recommend actions; assist with relocations.
• Coordinate with other departments and conduct staff meetings.
• Schedule major projects and ensure supplies are available.
• Conduct inventory of supplies; assist with budgets.
