Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking an Assistant Director of Environmental Services to assist the Director in directing housekeeping operations in a hospital setting. You will coordinate the activities of Operations Managers and serve as a liaison between administration and hospital departments to deliver high-quality service.

You will establish standards, plan schedules, supervise staff, train teams, and participate in budgets, ensuring optimal housekeeping coverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Working knowledge of housekeeping procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in healthcare housekeeping facility maintenance.
• Strong work ethic, initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication, listening and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Environmental Services in directing housekeeping operations.
• Coordinates tasks of Operations Managers and liaises with hospital departments.
• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for housekeeping staff.
• Plans schedules, areas of work, and duties to ensure coverage.
• Interviews, hires, evaluates, and may terminate staff per facility standards.
• Trains, develops and supervises all housekeeping staff.
• Performs regular inspections and suggests action items.
• Conducts staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Maintains inventory of housekeeping supplies and assists with budgets.
