Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks an Assistant Director to support the Director of Environmental Services in overseeing housekeeping operations in a hospital setting. You will coordinate with Operations Managers and serve as a key liaison between administration and hospital departments to ensure top-level service.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage budgets and staff under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Strong work ethic and initiative for quality and customer service are required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and procedures for all Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work schedules, hours, and job duties to ensure adequate housekeeping services.
• Interviews, hires, evaluates, and terminates staff per facility standards.
• Orients, trains, and supervises all Housekeeping staff.
• Performs regular inspections and suggests actions for improvement.
• Conducts staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Schedules major projects and ensures staffing and supplies.
• Maintains inventory of housekeeping supplies and assists with budgets.
