Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Director of Environmental Services and oversee the Housekeeping Department. You will coordinate Operations Managers and liaise with administration and hospital departments to ensure top service levels.

Responsibilities include setting standards, scheduling, hiring, training, budgets, and coordinating with other departments to maintain quality housekeeping across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history is required.
• Strong work ethic, initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, empathy, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff in accordance with facility policies.
• Plans work schedules, areas of work, and duties to ensure adequate housekeeping services.
• Interviews, hires, evaluates, and terminates housekeeping personnel per facility standards.
• Orients, trains, and supervises all Housekeeping staff.
• Performs regular inspections and evaluations and suggests action items.
• Conducts staff meetings and coordinates activities with other departments.
• Schedules major project work and ensures adequate staff and supplies.
• Conducts regular inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Assists Department Director with budgets.
