Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Training Specialist role focused on developing Product Sales Specialists and delivering exceptional customer service. The position emphasizes understanding retail basics, product knowledge, and showroom presentation to enhance the customer shopping experience.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service/sales experience, and strong communication skills. The job is on-site at our Tukwila, WA location with a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Act in line with company core values and safe lifting practices.
• Lead and train Product Sales Specialists on the company philosophy of the basic P’s of retail.
• Direct and ensure high levels of customer service and product knowledge.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses and maintain knowledge of merchandise and installation.
• Manage merchandising, pricing and organization of the department; communicate SOP changes to associates.
• Interact with customers, assist with product questions, and process sales at checkout using POS.
