Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a training-focused role to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by providing exceptional product information and service.

The position emphasizes leading training programs, maintaining merchandising standards, supervising certifications, and applying the basic P's of retail. It requires safety-conscious, efficient teamwork and strong communication in a busy showroom.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train product sales specialists to deliver superior customer service.
• Demonstrate understanding of company policies and SOPs.
• Teach the basic P's of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Direct and assist merchandising, pricing, and department organization.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process checkout and handle refunds according to guidelines.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Communicate standard operating procedure direction and changes to associates.
