Job summary

Floor & Decor in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a training-focused professional to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure a positive customer experience with exceptional product knowledge.

You will drive basic retail principles, supervise merchandising and pricing, and certify staff while assisting customers and processing transactions at the POS. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Product Sales Specialists.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and product information.
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic retail principles (People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing).
• Supervise merchandising, pricing, and department organization.
• Complete product specialist certifications and forklift proficiency testing.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections and process transactions at POS.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
