Job summary

Floor & Decor in Tempe, AZ is looking for a dedicated trainer to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional service and accurate product information.

You will lead training initiatives, oversee certification, merchandising, and pricing, while upholding safety and store standards. Requires a high school diploma and 1 year of customer service or sales experience, plus strong communication and multi-tasking abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop Product Sales Specialists to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure customers receive accurate product information and guidance.
• Lead and participate in pricing, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Communicate SOPs and changes to associates promptly.
• Ensure forklift proficiency testing and certification where applicable.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process checkouts and handle refunds per guidelines.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs; stock displays.
