The primary function of the Assistant Controller is to manage the financial accounting of the organization in an efficient, client-focused and profitable manner. This role leads month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance to GAAP across multiple operating companies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5-7+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines.

Aufgaben

• Own the full-cycle accounting and month-end close activities for multiple operating companies.
• Prepare/review journal entries for AR, AP, cash, payroll, fixed assets, inventory, prepaids, intercompany, and month-end accruals.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts per Corporate Policies.
• Explain variances to forecast and budget with Management.
• Lead a team of accountants, providing guidance and development.
• Ensure accounting procedures conform to GAAP and Corporate Policies.
• Lead year-end audit requests and support external auditors.
• Champion adoption of new accounting software and tools.
