Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Florida seeks an Assistant Controller to supervise the accounting team, ensure GAAP and SOX compliance, and deliver accurate financials on a timely basis.

You will oversee payroll, bank reconciliations, month-end close, journal entries, internal controls, and collaboration with tax, auditors, and other departments.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in accounting with supervisory experience; CPA is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years accounting experience with at least 1-2 years in supervisory capacity.
• Operational knowledge of GAAP & SOX requirements.

Mansioni

• Provide supervision for the Accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Review department information and provide assistance as needed.
• Issue invoices, MSOs, warranty papers, etc.
• Perform bank reconciliations and post cash receipts.
• Oversee payroll, reviews, approvals, and tax withholdings.
