Job summary

ITAC Solutions is partnering with a well-established, family-owned luxury manufacturer in New York to place an Assistant Controller / Interim Accounting Manager.

You will oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting, strengthen internal controls, manage AP, and provide GAAP-compliant reporting across cycles.

This 8+ week contract offers immediate ownership, weekly pay, and a chance to lead the close, budgeting, and audits in a high-impact setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience at the Assistant Controller level or equivalent.
• LeaseQuery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems.
• Manage internal controls and GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Supervise accounts payable and cash control.
• Prepare financial reports across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
• Support budgeting and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
• Manage lease balance accounting and reporting using LeaseQuery.
• Support audit and tax processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
