Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting partners with a growing, established company to add an Assistant Controller to their accounting team. This hands-on role offers ownership, process improvements, and collaboration with leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, preparing entries and reconciliations, supporting budgeting and analysis, ensuring GAAP compliance, and driving efficiency in reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close responsibilities.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar role preferred.
• Strong ERP system experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
