Job summary

Envolve is seeking an on-site Assistant for The Junction in Frederick, MD to support the Community Manager with leasing, maintenance, and daily operations of a new construction property.

You will help supervise staff, process rental applications, manage rents and delinquent accounts, and assist with renewal programs while ensuring compliance with Tax Credit and HUD/Section 8 guidelines. Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel; strong knowledge of compliance documents and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong customer service focus.
• HUD/Section 8 knowledge and Tax Credit experience preferred; 1–2 years property management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and supervising leasing, maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping staff.
• Maintain knowledge of area competition and market surveys.
• Complete weekly activity reports, rental applications, and recording of all rental and leasing information.
• Assist Community Manager in reporting, assignments, and recording of resident requests.
• Assist in renewal and retention programs for residents.
• Responsible for collection, receipting, and recording of all rents; collect delinquent rents.
• Provide reports as required.
• Other tasks as assigned.
