Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in the financial and operational aspects of the community. The role emphasizes customer service, reporting, lease administration, and resident relations in a fast-paced environment.

Full-time position offering hourly pay in the $29.00–$32.00 range, with benefits including time off, health programs, 401K and Roth IRA, holidays, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organization skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Respond to resident requests using professional customer service and sales techniques.
• Collect monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs by walking units to assess occupancy.
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals, and enter data into property management software.
• Oversee resident renter’s insurance procedure and deposits; process applications.
• Ensure model apartments are ready and maintain a clean workspace.
• Know lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and company policies.
