Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community. The role includes file management, resident relations, payments, evictions, and data entry into property management software.

Compensation is Full-Time at $24.00 to $26.00 per hour with benefits including time off, health programs, 401K/ROTH IRA, holidays, bonuses, rent discounts, and professional development

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced working environment.
• Organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Respond to resident requests with courteous, effective service.
• Collect monies due and manage audits, evictions, and move-outs.
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes.
• Enter data into property management software and finalize move-ins/outs.
• Maintain renter's insurance procedures and renewals.
• Manage show units and maintain clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies.
• Engage with locator services and local businesses for informational material.
• Conduct outreach marketing and resident retention programs.
