Job summary

Asset Living in Denver, CO is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, leasing, maintenance, and risk management to help optimize cash flow and ensure compliance.

You will promote resident retention, ensure procedures align with company policies, and uphold safety and fair housing guidelines while coordinating with management to meet financial goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income accurately from all applicants, current residents, and non-current residents.
• Processing and reconciling daily all accounts receivable.
• Monitoring bad debt and filing evictions as needed.
• Helping the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Posting charges to resident accounts and utilities where applicable.
• Handling end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintaining accurate records and auditing resident files for accuracy.
• Walking units and posting move-out charges, statements, and security deposits.
