Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community, under the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in delinquency management, rent collection, and cash flow optimization while supervising staff to ensure policy compliance.

The role requires managing leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk, with a focus on resident satisfaction and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate posting of payments and income.
• Supervise onsite staff and coordinate leasing, maintenance, and risk management.
• Develop leasing strategies and ensure timely signings and documentation.
• Maintain customer service excellence and address resident concerns and requests.
• Assist with budget planning and variance reporting, ensuring NOI targets.
