Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Carrollton, TX to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will help with delinquency management, leasing, maintenance, and risk management on an onsite basis.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, posting payments, reconciling receivables, supporting budget goals, and ensuring compliance with fair housing and OSHA requirements. Strong customer service and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately from applicants and residents; ensure timely processing.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable; monitor delinquencies and evictions.
• Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill utilities where applicable; manage month-end close.
• Maintain records and audit resident files for accuracy.
• Walk units, post move-out charges and refunds; oversee staff performance.
• Supervise onsite staff and enforce company policies and safety guidelines.
