Job summary

The Franklin Johnston Group in Richmond, VA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for an Affordable Senior Community. The role reports to the Community Manager, ensuring efficient operation and stepping in during the Community Manager's absence.

You will support leasing, office administration, and resident services while maintaining professional appearance and adherence to company policies. Training and safety courses are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Efficient and timely reporting, maintenance and submission of all administrative forms, files and reports.
• Post rent to MRI. Perform bookkeeping functions as necessary.
• Assisting the Community Manager in orientation, training and scheduling of leasing and office personnel.
• Inspect model, office, and vacant units to ensure marketability; keep on-site office organized and files maintained.
• Maintain awareness of the "curb appeal" of the community.
• Shop competition and know pricing, policies, lease terms, and community terms.
