Job summary

The Franklin Johnston Group seeks a Community Manager to supervise leasing, personnel, and operations for a residential community in Williamsburg, VA. You will manage budgets, ensure rent collection, and oversee maintenance and resident services.

You will lead office and maintenance teams, enforce Fair Housing and safety policies, and drive occupancy performance while reporting on leasing trends and financials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–5 years related experience.

• Certifications: CAM or RAM recommended; Fair Housing within 1 day of hire; harassment and drug-free workplace training within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate the community within the financial guidelines and approved budget.
• Ensure rents are collected and posted; issue notices and evictions.
• Work one weekend a month; preferably the first weekend.
• Supervise office staff and maintenance supervisor; coordinate with maintenance staff.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and company policies; ensure proper reporting.
