Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to work closely with the Community Manager and fill in during their absence. The role supports leasing, marketing, and resident relations while maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities include assisting with advertising, showing units, processing applications, and handling renewals. Strong communication and English is required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Demonstrate ability to support and contribute to the community team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels of comparable units in the surrounding area.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.
• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Professionally represent the company at all times.
• Accept rental payments and relay to the Community Manager.
• Type lease documents and input information in Yardi accurately.
• Assist with lease preparation, signing and administration.
• Operate accounting software to record and analyze information.
