Qualifications

• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in advertising materials.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels of comparable units.
• Present leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents and applicants.
• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria and guest cards.
• Process applications and deposits following procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Update availability reports and process approvals in the system (credit checks, rental history).
• Assist with renewals and renewal notices.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Assist with lease preparation and administration and input data into the Yardi system.
