Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking an on-site Community Operations Associate to support the Community Manager in financial operations, rent collection, and reporting. You will use Yardi/OneSite to record transactions, reconcile accounts, and assist with owner communications.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in property management, strong communication, and a valid driver's license for on-site duties. Monday–Friday with weekends as needed; competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years minimum in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license to drive a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Collects and posts rent and fees, prepares daily bank deposits and reconciles accounts.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and records all transactions.
• Reviews resident files to determine unpaid balances, communicates with residents, and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews vendor invoices and routes for payment, codes charges, and maintains communication between vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Follows eviction procedures, including notices and court appearances when required.
• Processes move-outs, applies deposits, and handles lease cancellation fees.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
• Acts as on-site supervisor in manager's absence, coordinating maintenance and operations.
• Assists in leasing/marketing by greeting prospects, collecting information, and guiding rental applications.
