Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Reston, VA to support the Community Manager in financial administration and leasing oversight. The role includes posting rental collections, deposits, and accounting processes for the community.

You will work with the Community Manager and Regional Manager to enhance performance, conduct market surveys, and maintain lease files. A background in collections and property management is preferred, with strong MS Office skills and

Qualifications

BA/BS in business or related field is required.
Strong collections experience and accounting/bookkeeping skills are required.
Onsite/Rent Roll experience preferred; 1+ year in property management is preferred.
Superior customer service and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

Support Leasing Consultants in leasing of apartments and lease administration as needed.
Post rental collections, make bank deposits, and oversee accounting functions for the community.
Meet regularly with the Community Manager and Regional Manager to discuss performance.
Conduct monthly market surveys and recommend pricing changes.
Maintain and update resident lease files and generate reports.
Process notices to vacate and manage delinquencies and evictions as necessary.
Address resident concerns and coordinate resolutions with leadership team.
Perform administrative duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
