Job summary

Northland is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager at The Standard, a 280-unit multifamily community on James Island in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on daily operations, enforcing company policies, and supervising leasing and maintenance staff in the manager's absence.

You will help manage rent collection, delinquency, budgeting, and profitability while delivering top-notch resident service.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
• Hospitality or property management experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, residents, and vendors.
• Weekend shifts may be required; travel may be required.
• May operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager with day-to-day operations at the community.
• Supervise leasing and maintenance staff in the manager's absence.
• Oversee rent collection and delinquency management.
• Contribute to profitability, cost control, and operating budget maintenance.
• Maintain high level of professionalism and resident experience.
