Greentree North Apartments in North Charleston, SC is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to oversee daily operations of a Section 8/Tax Credit community. You will handle leasing, maintenance, and resident relations, using OneSite for leases and records, and ensuring compliance through regular inspections.

The role emphasizes customer service, organization, and attention to detail, with responsibilities including vendor negotiations, community events, and strong resident engagement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with OneSite or similar property management software is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of LIHTC housing regulations is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Experience in property management administration is preferred.
• Familiarity with property maintenance processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls in a warm, welcoming manner.
• Assist in leasing, maintenance, and resident relations across operations.
• Use OneSite to manage leases, tenant communications, and records.
• Support regular property inspections for compliance.
• Develop marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
• Negotiate maintenance vendor contracts for quality work at fair prices.
• Maintain housing program records and explain options to residents.
• Collaborate with maintenance on property issues and events to build community.
