Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager at Avenues of West Ashley in Charleston, SC. You will support leasing, resident relations, and financial tasks while partnering with the Community Manager to lead the team and ensure a thriving community.

The role emphasizes accurate lease processing, occupancy goals, and exceptional resident service. Open office hours and community events may require scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Two years of property management experience preferred.
• Six months assistant community manager experience preferred.
• CALP accreditation and valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist leasing by conducting tours, responding to leads, and guiding prospects through the leasing process.
• Identify prospect needs, showcase available homes, and invite them to join the community.
• Ensure lease applications, renewals, and related documents are completed accurately and on time.
• Meet occupancy goals through strong leasing performance and resident retention.
• Create and manage content for the community’s social media platforms to highlight events and engagement.
• Oversee rent collection, check scanning, and payment posting to ensure timely processing.
• Conduct regular ledger reviews and assist with financial reporting for the Community Manager.
