Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community in El Cajon, California. Responsibilities include managing files, resident relations, rent collection, evictions coordination, data entry in PM software, and retention programs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• 6 months experience in the property management industry
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports
• Respond to resident requests with proper customer service and sales techniques
• Collect monies, oversee evictions/skip situations and walk units for occupancy
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files and enter data into PM software
• Oversee renter's insurance procedures
• Collect deposits and process applications from future residents
• Ensure model/target apartments are show-ready and workspace is clean
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability and policies
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses
• Conduct outreach marketing and shopping of nearby properties
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs
• Report unusual circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct
