Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community. This full-time role focuses on professional communication, accurate file management, resident requests, move-ins/outs, renewals, and lease knowledge while helping drive retention programs and uphold company policies.

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Respond to resident requests using professional customer service and sales techniques.
• Collect monies due and manage evictions, skips, and move-outs as needed.
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files and input data into property management software.
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures and deposits; process applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready and workspace is tidy.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies.
• Engage with apartment locator services and local businesses for information materials.
• Conduct outreach marketing and retain residents with ongoing programs.
