Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community.

The role includes coordinating file management, reports, customer service, rent collection, evictions support, and data entry in property management software, while ensuring high standards of customer care and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Oversee file management and run reports.
• Use customer service and sales techniques; respond courteously to resident requests.
• Collect all monies due; oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs by walking units.
• Communicate with outside counsel during evictions.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals; enter data into property management software.
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures.
• Collect deposits and process applications from future residents.
• Ensure model apartments are ready for show and keep workspace clean.
• Know lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and company policies.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses.
• Shop surrounding/competing properties and conduct outreach marketing.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
