Qualifications

Job Description Summary

Assist the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community, including accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, invoice processing, rent collection, bank deposits, dispositions, account reconciliations, and utilizing property management software to track and report financial data.

Job Duties
  • Handle daily financial transactions, including rent and fee collection, bank deposits, reconciliation, and financial reports.
  • Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite), ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Review resident files for unpaid fees, communicate with residents about balances, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  • Review and process vendor invoices, coordinate with relevant parties, and ensure proper coding and approval.
  • Follow procedures for evictions, including notices, court representation, and legal compliance.
  • Manage resident move-outs, applying deposits and fees appropriately, and processing dispositions.
  • Promote resident satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, overseeing daily operations and maintenance coordination.
  • Support owner relations through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, sit, bend, and reach for extended periods; work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Lift and maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently, and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Travel may be required for property support, training, or meetings.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The hourly rate is $20.00 - $22.00, with additional compensation factors based on experience and location.
