Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at job sites with some remote work and close collaboration with the Commissioning Manager and technical experts.

You will help develop commissioning plans, manage teams, ensure safety compliance, and produce daily reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Experience with HV/MV switching and equipment grounding.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout safety procedures.
• Knowledge of SCADA, DCS control systems and testing requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning team and develop project milestones, deliverables, and procedures.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on status of each project.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers on testing activities and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Prepare detailed daily commissioning reports and track lessons learned.
