Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Project Manager to lead testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects. The role requires coordinating with engineering, construction, and QA teams to deliver reliable, fully operable renewable assets.

Hybrid work model with on-site presence at job sites will apply. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of electrical power systems, switching operations, and SCADA testing, along with solid project management and safety experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and commissioning on utility scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on status of each project.
• Develop milestone lists, commissioning plan, and procedures.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers for equipment testing and commissioning activities.
• Develop integrated P6 testing and commissioning schedules and weekly updates.
• Develop commissioning resource plan and energization procedures.
• Prepare daily commissioning reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.
