Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to lead testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects. The role requires coordinating with engineering, construction, and QA teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient commissioning processes.

On-site presence is required with some hybrid work possibilities. The position emphasizes developing commissioning plans, schedules, and safety procedures aligned with NFPA/NEC and IEEE standards, and supervising teams across multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team and provide guidance and support.
• Report daily on project status to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and milestones.
• Coordinate with OEMs and project teams for testing activities.
• Develop and update integrated testing/commissioning schedules (P6).
• Prepare daily commissioning reports and track issues and corrective actions.
