Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to lead testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects nationwide. You will guide commissioning teams, align with engineering, construction, and QA, and ensure safe, compliant, and reliable asset handover.

The role requires on-site and hybrid work with travel to job sites; you will develop schedules, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement in commissioning processes across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with testing and commissioning of utility-scale electrical systems.
• Ability to manage commissioning teams and coordinate stakeholders.
• Knowledge of NFPA/NEC and IEEE/IES standards.
• Familiarity with HV/MV switching and protective relays is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team and provide guidance.
• Report daily on project status to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA teams.
• Ensure all commissioning activities meet safety and environmental standards.
