Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning activities for HV, BESS, and PV projects nationwide.

You will work with the Commissioning Manager and experts to ensure installations are tested, commissioned, and operable, with a focus on safety and quality. The role requires coordinating with engineering, construction, and QA teams, developing schedules, and ensuring timely project delivery across sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of HV/MV switching operations and LOTO safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team and provide guidance.
• Report daily on project status to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop and maintain commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with OEMs on equipment testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, NFPA/NEC, and environmental standards.
• Prepare daily commissioning reports and track lessons learned.
