Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking an Assistant Colorist to support licensed colorists, with growth toward becoming a licensed colorist within 3–9 months. This role is available at a location in Texas and can be full- or part-time depending on business needs.

Compensation includes base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with a pay range of $21.50–$22.50 per hour. Availability during peak times is required to best serve guests.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state where you are applying.
• Entry level customer service or retail experience; salon/beauty industry preferred.
• Effective communication, problem solving and people skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in behind-the-chair services including shampooing, finishing services, styling and blowouts.
• Support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Help drive sales through retail, memberships and service add-ons.
• Maintain cleanliness, inventory, and adherence to company policies.
