Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking an Assistant Colorist to support Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead, ensuring guests have a seamless experience from arrival to departure. You will learn the services, assist with color consultations, and work toward becoming a Licensed Colorist within 3–9 months.

The role offers base hourly pay, commissions, and tips, with earnings projected between $28 and $30 per hour at this location, depending on performance and tenure.

Qualifications

• Entry level experience in customer service or retail environment.
• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• Effective communication and people skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist in finishing services, shampooing, conditioning, styling and add-on services.
• Help drive sales through memberships, product and service upsell.
• Maintain cleanliness, inventory, and asset security in the Hair Color Bar.
• Learn color theory and practice behind-the-chair skills for career growth.
