Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Colorist to support licensed colorists and the shift lead, delivering a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. You will learn the services, assist with consultations, shampoos, conditioning, blowouts, and participate in our unlimited roots membership program while preparing for promotion to a Licensed Colorist.

This role offers base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with potential earnings ranging from 24 to 25 per

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license in the applying state.
• Entry-level customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon setting.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Assist in finishing services and perform shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts, and toner applications as requested.
• Support achievement of monthly sales goals including retail, services, and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and secure company assets at the Hair Color Bar.
• Follow Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Help drive revenue through memberships, subscriptions, and retail product sales.
• Be proactive in learning and complete the Assistant Colorist to Colorist training.
• Support progression toward becoming a Licensed Colorist within Madison Reed.
