Job summary

Planet Fitness in Scranton is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to support the Club Manager in daily operations and deliver the Judgement Free Zone experience. You will lead team members, assist in onboarding, manage inventory, and help resolve member concerns while upholding club policies. This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities for growth.

CPR training is provided, 18+ required, and a chance to contribute to a friendly, assisting team in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• 9-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• 9-12 months of experience supervising and leading team is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Model behaviors to provide an outstanding member experience; coach and inspire others.
• Assist in resolving employee concerns and provide backup staffing.
• Manage inventory system for cleaning supplies and ordering club supplies.
• Track KPI and assist in hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Assist in emergency situations and maintain a clean, safe club environment.
