Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a motivated Assistant Club Manager in Training to lead assigned departments, drive performance, and develop future leaders.

You will partner with the Club Manager and Business Partners to ensure GOLD standards, training, and compliance across the club. The AMIT role includes onboarding, certification, and potential transitions into Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years retail store, supermarket, or warehouse ops management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
• Must be able to train, motivate, and manage large teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic dept leadership across Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and certify team members; ensure proper staffing.
• Oversee labor planning, scheduling, and budget targets.
• Drive sales, inventory control, and shrink management to meet KPIs.
• Maintain club standards and enforce safety/compliance policies.
