Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an AMIT who will lead assigned departments, develop talent, and ensure operational excellence with GOLD standards. The role includes overseeing daily club operations, scheduling, and team engagement while maintaining high member service levels.

The AMIT will partner with the Club Manager, drive performance, and may serve as Manager on Duty, ensuring a safe and positive shopping experience for members.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations management.
• High school diploma and/or college degree preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills essential.
• Knowledge of store operations, merchandising, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic department leadership across assigned departments.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard team members; manage staffing and certifications.
• Oversee labor planning, scheduling, and budget targets.
• Drive sales, inventory control, and shrink management; ensure in-stock conditions.
• Maintain compliance with FOOD SAFETY, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and develop talent within the team.
