Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking an Assistant Case Manager I, II, or III to support case managers by handling scheduling, reception, records, and coordination with hospital clinics and tribal health organizations. This role includes assisting with admissions, referrals, and ensuring chart accuracy within the electronic health record.

The position emphasizes clerical duties, insurance verification, and patient coordination under supervision, with on-site work in Alaska.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and customer-service oriented.
• Familiarity with Cerner and electronic health records is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Case Managers with scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals.
• Maintain patient charts, records, and department logs.
• Answer calls, respond to messages, and route information to appropriate staff.
• Coordinate with other clinics and THOs as needed.
• Verify insurance eligibility and document in the EHR system.
• Support clerical duties and ensure access to charts for scheduled visits.
