Job summary

Consumers Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead across four Elgin-area branches, including Elgin Main and Gail Borden locations. You will partner with the Branch Manager to coach a Branch Specialist team, manage operations, and ensure high-quality member service.

The role requires 2–5 years of retail management experience, preference for financial services, and Spanish bilingual ability. A 45-hour week range is typical, with scheduling across weekdays and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalency is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to Branch Specialists. Coordinate activities and schedules. Deliver Performance Reviews, Development Plans, and Performance Improvement Plans.
• Assist members with opening various types of accounts and escalated service issues.
• Oversee branch operations: ATM, ITM, dispatch, vault, currency, regulatory compliance, and audits.
• In the Branch Manager's absence, run the branch.
