Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support three Northern Illinois branches with leadership, coaching, and sales initiatives. You will partner with the Branch Manager to drive exceptional member service, optimize operations, and develop team talents.

Travel between Randall Road, Algonquin Road, and South Elgin branches is required. The role emphasizes coaching, onboarding, and performance management, with a focus on community engagement and maintaining branch

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience leading others formally or informally is required; or completion of leadership programs in lieu of experience.
• Availability to work during branch hours, including Saturdays, with flexibility to support other locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in developing and implementing sales goals and strategies that align with the Credit Union's direction.
• Coach team members through performance reviews and development planning.
• Assist in onboarding, staffing, and maintaining optimal staffing levels for branch demands.
• Represent the Credit Union at community events to support outreach and engagement.
• Maintain branch safety, appearance, and brand standards while delivering superior service.
• Lead and participate in meetings, trainings, projects, and committees.
