Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union in Illinois seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support three northern Illinois branches. You will collaborate with the Branch Manager to drive member service, sales, and operational efficiency while coaching a diverse team.

You will help with onboarding, performance reviews, scheduling, and audits, ensuring a welcoming environment and adherence to risk and compliance standards. The role requires flexibility to work Saturdays and travel among branches.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing or supervising staff.
• Experience driving sales and superior member service in a financial setting.
• Ability to coach, develop, and retain branch teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in achieving sales and service goals aligned with MSUFCU's strategy.
• Observe, coach, and provide timely feedback to staff; conduct performance reviews and promotions as needed.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and staffing to optimize branch coverage.
• Represent MSUFCU at community events and maintain branch audits and risk management practices.
