Job summary

Westerra Credit Union is opening a brand-new Lafayette branch and seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to lead a growing team while delivering superior member service. You will partner with the Branch Manager to drive sales, coach staff, and ensure efficient operations in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

The role requires a customer-focused leader with 4+ years of relevant experience, retail banking exposure, and a passion for community engagement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• 1 year retail branch experience within a financial institution.
• 1 year supervisor experience preferred.
• 1 year consumer lending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrates the Westerra Experience (WX) into daily branch activities to build relationships, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional member experience.
• Drives a high-performance culture with branch and role-specific goals tied to data insights, budget, and strategy.
• Meets/exceeds monthly sales goals while maintaining stellar service and member experience.
• Coaches staff on Member Service behaviors and helps members succeed financially.
• Oversees branch operations, scheduling, security, cash handling, expenses, and audits.
