Job summary

1st Franklin Financial is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations and support the Branch Manager in achieving growth and profitability. You will build relationships with customers and staff, drive loan activity, and uphold exceptional service standards.

The role requires on-site presence at the branch, with occasional travel. A minimum 1–2 years in financial services and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in financial services dealing with customers and managing staff.
• Onsite work at the branch is required; working from home is not permitted.
• Travel, including overnight travel, may be required.
• Ability to meet current Licensing requirements of various States and Federal regulators.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze relevant information and apply judgment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Develops and assures that Branch growth, profitability goals and objectives are met.
• Manages all loans including approval of customer loans and sales finance contracts within delegated authority for lending limits.
• Maintains Branch delinquency control and engages with delinquencies as appropriate.
• Delegates the daily assignments of solicitation to new and existing customers.
• Oversees personnel management including hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, and salary administration.
• Implements impeccable customer service standards and ensures timely communication to all Branch staff.
• Follows up on Audit results and recommendations.
